Community Cares
Mission Statement:
By providing our time and resources, the Greenstreet Mortgage Community Cares program will strive to ensure a better quality of life and promote excellence within our community.
The staff at Greenstreet Mortgage , as well as the company, has committed themselves both financially and physically to the causes determined by the Community Cares committee. Our goal is to touch the lives of people that need our help; resulting in a long lasting positive impact. We consider ourselves honored to be involved with some of the charities and causes we have championed thus far and look forward to taking on new endeavors. If you have any suggestions, please email us here: communitycares@greenstreetmp.com
Our featured cause is Devin Becerril, a 15-month old baby boy in need of a
heart transplant. Sometimes a need is so great and time sensitive that it
requires us to stop and take immediate action. We are proud to say that
Devin was placed on the transplant list, moved to the Ronald McDonald House
at Stanford University Medical, found a donor and received his heart. Even
to the doctors amazement, he has done a remarkable job recovering from such
an invasive surgery. Devin is now two years old and comes by to see us
regularly. He is vibrant and has a fantastic smile on his face all the time.

Thanks to your support, Greenstreet has been able to contribute to the
huge success of The Caring Community of North
Portland’s Food and Toy Drive in both 05’ and 06’.
Your donations to Greenstreet were passed on and able to
help feed over 280 families this year alone. Greenstreet
sent 18 employees to assist in setting up a donation
‘Toy Store’ for parents to pick out their children’s
Christmas gifts from the donated goods. We will
continue to work closely with the CCNP and Multnomah
County Touchtone Program in 2007.

Greenstreet Mortgage and its employees, friends and family members raised money to support breast cancer research by running in the 2006 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
The Komen Race for the Cure Series helps raise awareness of the importance of a positive breast health program – annual mammography beginning at age 40, clinical breast exams at least every three years beginning at age 20 and annually at age 40, and monthly breast self-examinations for all women beginning by age 20.
In addition to raising funds, the Komen Race for the Cure Series is committed to educating the public about early detection, the strongest method of surviving this life-threatening disease. The five-year survival rate is 95 percent when the disease is discovered while still confined to the breast.
